Trust and practical safeguards
Privacy & Data Handling
A plain-language description of what this site collects and how customer information and project data should be handled.
Contact inquiries
The contact form may collect your name, email address, project description, submission timestamp, and basic location information derived from the request, such as country.
Inquiries are delivered to Ellwood Data Works by email. This site does not currently provide customer accounts, and Ellwood Data Works does not intentionally sell customer information.
Contact information is used to respond to your inquiry and manage possible work.
Storage and retention
The website does not maintain a separate customer-inquiry database. Inquiry information may remain in business email records as needed for communication, quoting, project records, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
No fixed retention period is currently stated. You may request deletion of inquiry information when practical, subject to records that must reasonably be retained for those purposes.
Customer project data
Customer data is accessed only as needed to perform agreed work. It should not be used for unrelated purposes, and access should be limited to the files and systems relevant to the project.
Do not submit sensitive files through the general contact form. File-transfer and system-access arrangements will be discussed separately before project work begins.
Confidentiality expectations, including who may access the data and how it should be returned or deleted, should be confirmed before sensitive data is transferred.
Website infrastructure
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. The contact form uses Cloudflare services for delivery and anti-bot protection.
Public operational data shown in the demo comes from third-party public sources, including the National Weather Service, U.S. Geological Survey, and OpenStreetMap contributors. Those sources may have their own privacy, request-logging, and availability practices.
Questions and requests
For a privacy or data-handling question, or to request deletion of inquiry information, use the existing contact form. Please identify the inquiry clearly, but do not include sensitive files in the form.
